POST     COMMENTARY

The landscape of Makkah and its vicinity is rocky mountains. There is hardly any vegetation in the area. Fancy A Muslim coming from afar leaving a remote country and abandoning their businesses and families alike. In such a wilderness, men are primitively clothed, and women experiencing exotic conditions. All this is for the pleasure and satisfaction of their All- Generous Lord. They have all come asking their Lord’s forgiveness and are ambitious  for His paradise. However, this seemingly primitive scene is far well organised and disciplined. All the actions they do celebrate a famous memory previously done by Ibrahim, Isma’eel or Hajar. Muslis associate themselves with all virtuous and obedient people. They  greet the Kaba by circulating it. They gather in Minna outside Makkah in preparation for the great day of Arafa. Muslims show complete submission in a very peaceful parade of obedience. They keep mentioning and remembering their Lord. Finally, they slaughter their animals as a means to please their Lord who doesn’t benefit from the blood or the meat of these animal sacrifices.
