POST COMMENTARY

The Holy Shrine, the Kaba, is the Muslims’ symbol of unity. It is of great respect and value for Muslims. The Kaba has a long history. The angels are said to be the first to have built it. Prophet Ibraheem is well known for building the Kaba. According to the commands and orders of his Lord, Ibrahim, aided by his youthful son Isma’eel, collaborated and cooperated in building it. Since then, the Kaba has been the subject of the Arabs’ care and interest. They used to decorate it with the best clothes. All the Muslim rulers showed their respect by caring for the Kaba.. The Kaba is a cubic building. In one of its corners, the Black Stone lies. It is highly celebrated by Muslims visiting the Kaba. There are also many landmarks around the Kaba. It is a sign of a Muslim’s faith to show respect to the Kaba, the symbol of Islam. The Kiswa or the Kaba’s special cloth, used to be made in Cairo, Egypt. But it is currently made in Makkah, Saudi Arabia in a special factory.
