I address every distressed person, whatever the sort of his distress is!! No one will be able to remove his affliction except Allah. When you have a firm belief in your heart that no one will remove your distress except Allah at that time you can consider that your affliction has been removed. And that will not happen unless you realise by your deep heart that no one will remove this affliction but Allah.
Verily, consider that the affliction was not lifted, be sure that Allah-Jalla wa’alla will never let you down, and you’ll see impact of your patience in the grave as well as the hereafter.
On the other hand, be sure entirely that Allah-jalla wa’alla Is able to remove distress and affliction. Allah-tala’a says:
“Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, “How long have you remained?” The man said, “I have remained a day or part of a day.” He said, “Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] – how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh.” And when it became clear to him, he said, “I know that Allah is over all things competent.” Surah Baqarah, verse 259
So if it is settled down in your heart and uttered by your tongue that Allah is over all things competent. If that happens there will be only few moments for your affliction to be removed.
Umm Salama reported Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying:
“If any Muslim who suffers some calamity says, what Allaah has commanded him, ‘We belong to Allaah and to Him shall we return; O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it,’ Allaah will give him something better than it in exchange.” Sahih Muslim
So If you are going through a calamity in your life such as sickness, mental health, jinn possession, marital problems or whatever it maybe, always respond with dua (supplication) to Allah the Most High. In the time of need your friends may abandon you but Allah will never do so, and will also give you something better than it in exchange. SubhanAllah!
If Allah makes you stand up you will never fall, and if he lets you fall and leaves you to yourself, you will always fall.
