Ustadh Gomaa Mahdi
Ustadh Gomaa Mahdi has joined Azhar institute in 1981 at the age of 6 year and he studied at Al- Azhar for 17 years. During this period brother Gomaa studied basic Arabic with focus on Arabic grammar and balaghah (rhetoric) and Islamic sciences- Tafseer, Hadith, and Fiqh according to Al-Azhar's system of curriculum. During his study years at Al-Azhar, he memorized the Qur’an, with Tajweed and mastery under the guidance of his noble teachers at Al- Azahr institute. In 2005 brother Ustadh Gomaa obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Islamic Studies in English from Al- Azhar University.Alongside with his academic studies, Ustadh Gomaa Mahdi studied traditional Islamic sciences at the hands of other senior scholars and specialists in Egypt. He has also recited the Quran to the famous Qari of the Republic of Egypt, Shaykh Gamal Fayyad and he has the “Sanad” (Ijazah) -linked to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) in the narration of Hafs from Asim.He speaks Arabic and English fluently and has delivered numerous lectures in Quranic Sciences, Islamic studies and Arabic language in Egypt. He also was a regular Khateeb (in Arabic) at a mosque in Alexandria, Egypt from 1999 till now. Since then, he is actively teaching and transferring the treasure of knowledge to his students.. In 2006, Ustadh Gomaa was appointed as professional Imam at the Egyptian ministry of Awqaf. Beside his work as Imam, Ustadh Gomaa teaches Arabic, Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies online for non- Arabs. He currently lives in Alexandria, Egypt where he has been an Imam for several mosques.

Ustadh Sameer has 7 years of experience in teaching Basic Quranic Reading and Arabic Language. He was born in Yemen and is a native Arab and also currently resides in Yemen, Sana. His professional skill and experience is in teaching Arabic Language. He is at present teaching Arabic Language in Sana Institute on a part-time basis in Yemen and has taught in al-Asrya School.
Ustadh Ehab Hafez has been teaching Arabic for 10 years, with many of those years devoted to teaching non-Arabic speakers. His students came from a diversity of cultures, religions , and age. Through this experience, he has developed the most effective strategies in teaching Arabic as a foreign language. The topics that he instructs ranges from Arabic literature (adab), poetry (she'r), rhetoric (balagha), with a focus on Arabic grammar (nahw).
Ustadh Shaiq Muhammad completed his memorization of Holy Quran in his childhood and then went on to complete a 10 year Aalim course from a famous Arabic medium called Abubakar Islamic University, in which he learnt the following subjects Tafseer-ul-Quran, Hadeeth, Adab-ul-Arabi, Fiqh-ul-Islami, Usool-u-Dawah and Sicence of Tajweed. Then he achieved a Masters degree in Quraan wa Sannah. Currently he is in the process of completing a course in specializing in Hadeeth and teaching Conversational Arabic.
Kazi Ashiqur Rahman is a Hafiz of the Quran and is currently studying at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He has studied in Several Islamic institutes In the UK including Ebrahim College where he studied Aalimiyah and A-levels. He has more than three years of Tajweed and Arabic teaching experience with both children and adults.
Ustadh Muhammad graduated from Cairo University, Egypt, with a BA Hons in Arabic Studies. Ustadh Muhammed specialises in the field of Arabic, teaching to non-native speakers at beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
Imam Abdul Kadir Mohamed is the imam of masjid Abubakr in Seattle, USA. Having memorised Quran at an early age, his parents sent him to Yemen to learn Islamic knowledge. He studied under many known scholars while in yemen and has obtained many ijaaza. He has been an active da'ee since returning to the states.
Ustadh Esaam Hammady has completed his memorisation of the holy quran and studing Tajweed while he was in high school. He currently resides in Yemen where he has teach Quran Kareem in tahfiz schools for children and in public schools. He worked in the ministry of spiritual guide in the field of tahfiz Quran schools administration…beside he is a professional with computer and using internet application where he graduated as an engineer from Sana'a university before five years 2005.
Kazi Ashiqur Rahman is a Hafiz of the Quran and is currently studying at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He has studied in Several Islamic institutes In the UK including Ebrahim College where he studied Aalimiyah and A-levels. He has more than three years of Tajweed and Arabic teaching experience with both children and adults.
Ustadh Abdus Shahid Mohammad Yahya completed his memorisation of the holy quran while he was in high school. He currently resides in Egypt where he is continuing his studies in the ten qira'aah (Ten different styles of recitation of the holy quran) Alhamduliah he achieved his ijazah in hafs an Asaim also hafs from atayibah.
Shaikh Mohammed Ahmed Nazir has a BA in Fundamental of Islamic Religion from Jordon University. From 1987 to 1992 he finished his Islamic Studies and went onto further study in Yarmouk University where he received an MA in Islamic Studies. He studied in Jordan for 9 years and studied in the Masjid with over 35 scholars. Shaikh Nazir recognised in Ghana as a man of scholorship within the Ghana institute of Languages and is very much respected within his community as a da'ee. He is also an advisor and religeous counsellor wthin his community. He is an Imaam of 4 Masjids in Ghana and is also an Imaam in Lawrence Road Masjid and Plaistow Masjid in the UK. In Ghana, he has setup an orphanage with up to 105 orphans who he looks after with food, shelter, medicine and clothing.

Presently, Ustadh Fahim is pursuing a degree in Shari'ah at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, as well as furthering his studies in the Ten Recitations. He has a strong passion in all areas relating to the Quran including Tafsir and Uloomul Quran. As well as an emphasis on the rules of pronunciation, he has a strong interest in the melodic aspects of recitation which enhance its beauty and impact.
Uthman Uthman Lateef has been the Director of the Hittin Institute since March 2008. He has studied in Syria and Egypt and is a popular speaker and khateeb at universities and masajid across the UK. He has a BA (First Class Hons) in History, an MA (Distinction) in Crusading Studies with a dissertation on religious poetry in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, and is currently completing a PhD in the Muslim literary effort to inspire a yearning for Jerusalem in the twelfth century. Uthman has been involved in many Islamic organisations, international charitable projects where he has been particularly active in raising awareness about the plight of Muslims in poverty-stricken Africa.
Ustadh Mujahid Ali came to England at a young age and was brought up in the North of England. During his teens he started his Islamic studies at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where he studied the Islamic sciences according to the Dars Nizami curriculum. In 2002 he completed his hadith studies under Sheikhul Hadith Mufti Muslihuddin, Sheikh Yusuf Darwan, Sheikh Mufti Musa Badat and Sheikh Abul Qasim, from whom he received ijazah. He then traveled to Syria for further studies in Hadith under several mashayikh (scholars) such as Sheikh Mohammad Asa'd Saeed As-Sagarji Ad- Dimashqi, and also studied advanced Arabic at Ma'had al-Lugah a branch of Damascus University. Since 2004 the sheikh has been an Arabic language and Tajweed teacher at Ebrahim College. Whilst teaching both these subjects he has compiles an anthology of Arabic literature as a literature textbook, and written a commentary on al-Muqaddamah al-Jazariyyah in tajweed, both of which will soon be published. He is currently the head of Arabic Language at EC. The sheikh also has ijaazah in al-Qira'aatal-Sab' from the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury and teaches this to advanced tajweed students at Ebrahim College.
Mustapha Himi has experience in doing dawah to non Muslims and teaching reverts basics of Islam. He teaches a group of reverts in the mosque. Mustapha Himi holds a diploma of Higher General Secondary Education and a Propaedeutics in Pedagogy and he is currently completing his BA in Pedagogy in Holland. He has experience in dealing with children, parents and professional upbringers on a professional level. He trained in an Islamic primary school, a nursery for young children and is now training in a center for people with a mental disability. He also gives workshops about Pedagogy. His interest goes out to child development, parenting and family issues. His courses will mainly evolve around these topics insha Allah.

Shaykh Suliman completed his schooling in South Africa in 1987. He completed Hifz in South Africa. He proceeded his study in Pakistan for three years from 1988 to 1990. From there he studied Arabic and Islamic Studies and Computing in Cairo, Egypt for two years. Shaykh Suliman then graduated from the Faculty of Hadith in Madinah, Saudi Arabia in 1998. In 2002, he obtained an MA in Islamic Studies Studies from the University of London (SOAS). Sheikh Suliman is currently an Imam at Tooting Islamic Center and Head of Da'wah Department. He is also the presently Head of Balham Mosque Madressa and lecturer in Arabic, Islamic Studies and Hifz Teacher at Tooting Islamic Centre. Shaykh Suliman also provides marriage counselling.
Ustadha Azhaar Muhammad is an Arabic teacher from Yemen who graduated from Sana'a University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Arabic. She worked as an Arabic teacher for non-native speakers at Sana'a Institute for the Arabic language from 2002 - 2009. She was also an educational coordinator at the same Institute for three years and participated in the preparation and writing of the institute curricula. Ustadha Azhaar Muhammad worked as an Arabic teacher at "Fajrulettehaad" for girls for five months. She has a passion and love for teaching Arabic and always tries to make it easy to learn for her students. She believes that the Arabic language is a beautiful language and strives to preserve its purity by correcting common mistakes made by both native and non-native speakers.
Ustadha Sawsan has been teaching Tajweed and Arabic to non-Arabic speakers for several years. She's a student of Islamic sciences in Cairo and is particularly passionate about Qur'anic recitations and Arabic sciences like grammar and rhetoric (balagha). Ustadha Sawsan is a native speaker with a wide international exposure which enables her to effectively address the educational needs of western Tajweed and Arabic students. She holds an Ijaza in the narration of 'Hafs 'an 'Asim and is currently working towards an Ijaza in the narration of warsh 'An Nafi'.
Umm Jareer Alyamania was born in 1982 in Yemen. She has finished her secondary school in 2000, memorized The Holy Qura'an in 2002, graduated from Sana'a University faculty of education English department in 2005, studied different books in Arabic grammar such as (atuhfa asania, different part from almutamema, and almulhah) and most of the books of Alshaykh Mohammad Ibn Abdulwahab in tawheed. And some books in mustalah, fiqh, and tafseer (2000-2011). She has her Ijaza in Qura'an and tajweed from teacher Rehab Shaqaqi the wife of Dr. Ayman suaid in 2008. Ustada Umm Jareer has taught six months English grammar in a Private school in 2005 and seven years foreigners Arabic grammar in English, tajweed and Qura'an (2003-2010). She is now Qura'an, tajweed, tawheed and Arabic grammar for Arab and foreigners who are in an advanced level in Arabic (2007-2011).
Ustadha Umm Ahmed was born in Egypt and is a native Arab. She studied Arabic, Tajweed, Tafseer, Hadith , Aqidah and Fiqh from Al Gamaiah Al Shaaraiah in Egypt, and also studied advanced study of Tajweed in Didsbury Masjid. She has over 6 years of teaching experience.
Umm Jumanah obtained her degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2001. She acheived her Ijazah in Assem in 2004 and got her certificate from Markaz Alfurqan in Saudi Arabia in 2008 in alqaidah annuraniyah. She has been teaching Arabic, Quran and Tajweed to non -Arabic speakers (children & adults) for over 10 years and has taught from many Arabic and Tajweed books from kg up to advanced levels.
Ustadha Salma is a medical doctor with great passion for the Qur'an.
For the last 8 years she's been studying Tajweed in Cairo where she
lives. She has over 6 years of experience in teaching Tajweed.
She's also a student at the Islamic Culture Institute in Cairo in
pursuit of certification from the Ministry of Religious endowments to
teach and lecture at the mosques of Egypt.
Ustadha Amira AlMisry is currently teaching Arabic to non-native speakers in Iqraa institute in Cairo -Egypt. She has been teaching Arabic to groups and individuals the Arabic Language to non-native speakers for more then 6 years. She is highly experienced in teaching Arabic to all nationalities. She also has a professional accreditation (Ijaza) in reading and teaching Qur'anic recitation.
Ustadha Umm Bayan was born and raised in Damascus, Syria a place where Arabic is the focal point of academic institutions. In this respect, Umm Bayan is fluent in Arabic for it is not only her first language but also the language she was academically taught in. Umm Bayan graduated with a B.A. in English literature from the University of Damascus. She is currently teaching Arabic to native and non-native speakers at Rose City Islamic Centre in Canada. She is experienced in teaching Arabic to many nationalities. Umm Bayan's experience ranges from teaching at Omar bin Abdul Aziz, a renowned private school in Damascus to teaching in several language learning centres such as Al Ghaith, Al-Shihabi and Third Millennium Centre. She also improved her teaching skills by receiving a certificate of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Canada. After all Ustada Aseel enjoys teaching others and sharing the success of her students in an enjoyable learning environment.

Ustadha Samah Rashed is Egyptian teacher and currently teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, she completed her studies in Arabic and studied Quran and Tajweed. She has been teaching Arabic to both groups and individuals to non-Arabic speakers for more then 2 years. In the time being she is working as a teacher in one of the Islamic primary schools in UK. In addition to this she taught Quran and Tajweed to Muslim Females for the last two years.
Ustadha Amber Aijaz completed Hifzul Quran from Islamiah Qasmiyyah Madrassa and appeared in Wafaqul Madarisul Arabia exam where she got the shahadah of Hifzul Quran with Mumtaz grade and then went on to complete a 4 year Aalima course from the same Madrassa, in which she learnt the following subjects Tafseer-ul-Quran, Hadeeth, Adab-ul-Arabi, Fiqh-ul-Islami, Usool-u-Dawah and Sicence of Tajweed.then she achieved a Diploma in Studies of Islamic Law from International Islamic University Islamabad (by correspondence). Then she achieved a Masters degree in Islamic Studies. She has 10 years of experience in teaching Basic Quranic Reading, Tajweed and Hifzul Quran.
