Born in Azad Kashmir in 1971 Shaykh Ahmad Ali came to the U.K. at the tender age of 6. Coming from a moderately practicing family, the odds were always stacked against him, but even as a young boy Shaykh displayed a yearning for deen. His stubborn determination resulted in him completing the memorisation of the Holy Quran at the age of 14 under the supervision and guidance of his teachers at the local mosque, Masjid Quba. Having completed this great feat, the thirst for furthering his Islamic knowledge could no longer be quenched in the confines of the local mosque. Searching for more in 1986 Shaykh enrolled at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya, Bury, the main nucleus of Islamic study in Europe at the time. During his time in Darul Uloom, Shaykh excelled in his studies undertaking an intensive study of many Islamic sciences including Arabic, Quranic Tafseer, Hadeeth, Fiqh and Aqeedah under the supervision of Hadhrat Yusuf Motala Sahib. After graduating from Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya in 1993 realising that the there was much more to be gained from the beauty of the Quran and Hadeeth, his insatiable hunger for knowledge still not satisfied, Shaykh left the confined borders of the United Kingdom and headed towards the Middle East, Madina. Here he studied at Al Jamiiyah al Islamiyah. Following this 1n 1994 Shaykh moved on to the world famous Azhar University in Egypt, specialising in Hadeeth. Having journeyed through many lands in order to substantiate this zeal for knowledge, Shaykh returned to the U.K. in 1996. A chapter closed.

He has contributed to debates on issues ranging from religious philosophy and theology. His work draws on contemporary philosophy to defend Islam in debates. Kazi Ashiqur Rahman is a Hafiz of the Quran and is currently studying at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He has studied in Several Islamic institutes In the UK including Ebrahim College where he studied Aalimiyah and A-levels. He has more than three years of Tajweed and Arabic teaching experience with both children and adults.

Ustadh Mujahid Ali came to England at a young age and was brought up in the North of England. During his teens he started his Islamic studies at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where he studied the Islamic sciences according to the Dars Nizami curriculum. In 2002 he completed his hadith studies under Sheikhul Hadith Mufti Muslihuddin, Sheikh Yusuf Darwan, Sheikh Mufti Musa Badat and Sheikh Abul Qasim, from whom he received ijazah. He then traveled to Syria for further studies in Hadith under several mashayikh (scholars) such as Sheikh Mohammad Asa\'d Saeed As-Sagarji Ad- Dimashqi, and also studied advanced Arabic at Ma\'had al-Lugah a branch of Damascus University. Since 2004 the sheikh has been an Arabic language and Tajweed teacher at Ebrahim College. Whilst teaching both these subjects he has compiles an anthology of Arabic literature as a literature textbook, and written a commentary on al-Muqaddamah al-Jazariyyah in tajweed, both of which will soon be published. He is currently the head of Arabic Language at EC. The sheikh also has ijaazah in al-Qira\'aatal-Sab\' from the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury and teaches this to advanced tajweed students at Ebrahim College.

Imam Abdul Kadir Mohamed is the imam of masjid Abubakr in Seattle, USA. Having memorised Quran at an early age, his parents sent him to Yemen to learn Islamic knowledge. He studied under many known scholars while in yemen and has obtained many ijaaza. He has been an active da\'ee since returning to the states.

Ustadh Jamal Abu Askar has been teaching Arabic to non-Arab students and has over 6 years experience in teaching Arabic Language. He graduated from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and passed with distinction in Arabic Language Skills. He has memorised the whole Qur\'an off by heart and has been teaching Tajweed to students from Beginners to Advanced level for over 6 years. He has Ijaza from Sheikh Musa Mohammad and Sheikh Abdul Bari to teach Tajweed.
